One of the sites she mentions, The Family Caregivers Alliance, at http://www.caregiver.org , has a newsletter which talks about using the internet for support groups (a convenient way to get the support you need, no matter where you are), and has great caregiving information and advice.
Remember, you have to take care of yourself in order to be able to care for someone else.
